I knew from the very first time that we made eye contact God wanted us to be together and took us by the hand and we made promises before Him on a very gorgeous February afternoon, to love one another for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health. We couldn't be happier, but a year later we both knew that we wanted more. I'm talking about starting our very own family, and not just with dogs! We wanted children, little carbon copies of our looks, personalities, likes, and dislikes. After trying on our own and with no results I decided to go see my doctor about the situation. I was told that the reason I was having a hard time getting pregnant was because I have PCOS, which causes follicles on my ovaries. I was in denial of this news so I decided to see another doctor. I received the same news and this time to confirm it I had a MRI done and yes it was confirmed. But also what was interesting was that my ovaries are a larger size than normal, which is probably why I do not ovulate. So I get the news and start the infertility treatments. Even though I was doing the treatments there was no happy result, I just was not ovulating. Both Nathan and I decided to stop these treatments because I was becoming sick, and we agreed that we should not jeopardize my health for something that is not happening. After months and months of grieving we both knew that God has another plan for us. Nathan and myself have decided to ADOPT!!!! And I have created this blog to share with others our journey to becoming a family. I am very excited that we are going through this process and we have our first meeting on June 15th!!!!!
